8. Why is revenue low?
In general this site was never advertised, marketed or optimized well for search engines, but it still manages to generated nice revenue. It has previously received large orders from organic search engines like the time a government agency bought over 100+ survival kits. This business started off as and then turned into after the premium domain was purchased.
The site was constantly redesigned over the years and some of the designs would cause a decrease in revenue for a variety of reasons until it was tuned. When we switched over from x-cart to wordpress we seen a slight drop in search engine rankings while the search engines re-learned the wordpress website structure. We still have all the old site designs and the new buyer could split test and get the revenue to crush it.
